Question: I'm engaged, now what?
Answer: Congratulations on your engagement! We recognize that while this is indeed a joyous time in your life, there may be many questions or concerns you have regarding your special day. We can assist with the planning process from the very beginning of your coordination to assuring that last minute details have been accounted for. We will schedule a Complimentary Initial Meeting, to further discuss what you envision for your day.
Question: Why should we hire an event planner?
Answer: Everyone may not need our services. If you have at least 150 hours to spare to plan a well organized and exceptional event and make sure it goes off without a hitch, then you may not need an event planner. However, we have found that today's professional men and women often need assistance in planning one of the largest celebrations of their lives. There is way more involved in planning a wedding of any size, than meets the eye. Let us stay current on the trends. Let us do the research. Let us worry about your budget. Let us do the legwork. Let us take away the stress of planning a stress-free wedding for you.
Question: My budget is already limited. How can I afford an event planner?Answer: If you have a limited budget, you can't afford NOT to hire an event planner. Event planners are no longer for the rich and famous. Working with an event planner can in fact SAVE you money as we will help you avoid those costly mistakes. We also help you maximize your hard earned dollar by prioritizing and making sure you spend your money where it counts the most. It is an event planner responsibility to make sure you stay within your financial comfort zone. Allow us to assist in bringing your visions to life...because after all, your resources may be limited, but the possibilities are not!
Question: I have decided to use the skills of my family and friends for the reception, invitations, etc. How would a consultant benefit me?
Answer: We welcome assistance from participants of your choice. We will work to assure that everyone is on the same page and coordinate the details of the itinerary with all of the involved parties, to avoid any misconceptions. Think back to any holiday dinner you may have hosted or attended. There's nothing worse than hearing on your wedding day-"Oh, I thought someone else was doing that".
Question: Do you book multiple events on the same day?
Answer: No, we only book one event per weekend. We feel it is important to devote as much time as possible to our clients on the day of their event.
Question: Do you accept vendor fees or commissions?
Answer: The staff of "For You" does not accept vendor commissions. We ask that any commissions are passed on to our clients. Our referrals are based on quality of work and assuring that the vendor is a good "fit" based on the couple's preferences.
Question: Do you require a contract?
Answer: Yes, in order to retain our services a contract is required. The contract will outline the details of your event as well as any services to be performed by "For You".
