Simple Wedding Planning Tip to Help Keep You Organized
 
There are so many arrangements that bride and grooms need to make before the big day, wedding planning can go from zero to sixty, fun to freaked out in a matter of minutes.  However, by staying on top of the details, you can greatly reduce your stress and actual enjoy the wedding planning process.  The No. 1 key to stress free wedding planning is simple organization.
 
Here are some tips to help you get a handle on all your wedding planning tasks.
 
1. Look at the Overall Picture

Obtain a wedding planning checklist, these are invaluable for assisting with a basic timeline.  Dig through bridal magazines, websites, and wedding planning books for timelines and find one or two that best suit your needs.

2. Invest in a calendar
 
It doesn't matter if you prefer a calendar, day timer, or wedding planning software, you need to have a specific date book for wedding planning ASAP.  The is the most valuable tool in planning your wedding.  The first thing to PENCIL in is your wedding day.   Once you have narrowed down a day, you can plan for everything else accordingly.  It is best to have at least a full year to plan your wedding, it will also help cut down on stress, but your specific date will let you know how much time you will be allowing yourself in the planning process.
 
3.  Pick a Day for Planning
 
The easiest way to tackle all the tasks associated with wedding planning is to do them in small increments over a period of time.  Set aside one day a week for a couple of hours to devote to planning.  You may need to alter you actual planning time depending on how close the wedding is, but the concept is to get you in the habit of going over the details with your fiance'
 regarding all things "Wedding".  Remember the sooner you start the planning process, the easier it will be.
 
4.  Set up a Folder system
 
Once you begin setting appointments and booking your vendors, it will become very important to keep all supporting information (contracts, receipts, and paperwork) in one easy place to locate.  By having all your important information in one place, you will be less likely to loose any important paperwork.
 
 
By keeping yourself organized, you will save time and relieve stress.
